General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an Operations Planner & Configuration Manager to support the USAF Base Infrastructure Modernization contract at Eielson AFB, Alaska. This role focuses on implementing and maintaining configuration management processes, and coordinating with government counterparts to ensure CMP alignment.

Operations Planner & Configuration Manager

• Implement and maintain configuration management processes, tools, and infrastructure in alignment with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
• Support the development of the Configuration Management Plan (CMP).
• Develop and use the configuration management database (CMDB) and seek approval from the appropriate government counterpart prior to implementing changes in alignment with the CMP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
• Minimum of 5+ years of related experience in configuration management and operations planning.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to brief leadership and collaborate with remote teams globally.
• Experience with DoW planning tools, ITIL foundation, ITSM processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ServiceNow, AF Planning and CM tools.
• Experience with configuration management database management.

Compensation

The likely salary range for this position is $107,744 - $124,200.

Work Environment

Scheduled weekly hours: 40 hours per week.

Travel required: Less than 10% of the time.

Telecommuting options: Onsite.

Work location: Eielson AFB, Alaska.
