Job Details

• Job Title: Operations Paralegal
• Type of Position: Full Time
• Location: Fully Remote
• Pay: $28.00/hour - $48.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with legal and company guidelines and procedures.
• Collaborate with pre-litigation teams to identify potential cases and facilitate case progress.
• Review, analyze, and evaluate cases nearing statutes of limitation.
• Manage and update case management database, generate reports.
• Prepare reports by analyzing and summarizing case information.
• Document case highlights, define case objectives, and develop case plans.
• Assign cases to litigation teams as needed.
• Conduct investigations and research.
• Navigate California Superior Court websites for case information.
• Research party identities, locations, and assets.
• Manage deadlines including statutes of limitation, court hearings, and due dates.
• Draft and file legal documents such as summons, complaints, and proofs of service.
• Serve as liaison between departments.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of civil litigation experience, personal injury experience preferred.
• ABA-approved Paralegal Certification required.
• Highly organized with good follow-up skills.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in internet, spreadsheet, and word processing software.
