Job summary

Goodwill of Colorado is hiring a Material Handler II, Operations for our warehouse. The role involves operating powered equipment to move donated items, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining organized storage areas.

Excellent customer service may be required when interacting with customers at the retail center and docks. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior warehouse experience, and certification in powered equipment operation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous storage, moving or shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Must obtain Powered Equipment Operator certification and forklift certification.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs unassisted and up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Able to work a varied schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays with possible overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered equipment to move donated product.
• Sort recyclable materials into proper bins.
• Load, unload, and stage trucks and trailers.
• Maintain warehouse organization and inventory counts in staging areas.
• Prepare items for shipment and track received/shipped product.
