Job summary

DTNA is seeking an Operations Intern to gain hands-on experience across Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Human Resources, and Safety, supporting continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.

You'll analyze operational data, track KPIs, assist with project coordination, prepare leadership presentations, and participate in Gemba walks and process observations while learning about plant operations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program or recently graduated.
• Pursuing a degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and interpret data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Interest in operations, process improvement, and business performance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Operations Department with daily tasks and project coordination.
• Analyze operational data and maintain dashboards on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support projects and goals.
• Assist Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare leadership presentations and status updates.
• Conduct Gemba walks and document standard work.
• Track action items and support special projects driving operational excellence.
