Join to apply for the Operations Manager - Weekend Shift role at kdc/one, Groveport.

This position is responsible for leading, planning, organizing, and directing all activities during the Weekend Shift in the compounding, filling, and packaging operations. The goal is to meet targeted production volumes according to schedule, supporting customer and financial objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Manage the activities of the production and compounding workforce, including permanent and temporary employees, to ensure production schedules are met within quality, safety, and operational standards.
2. Train, coach, and develop employees to meet performance expectations and department objectives, maintaining high employee engagement and positive relations.
3. Coordinate between shifts and departments to ensure continuous operations, planning production runs, changeovers, and related activities.
4. Recommend improvements for equipment and methods to enhance operational effectiveness, labor utilization, and quality.
5. Implement cost controls related to supplies, overtime, and other variables to adhere to budgets.
6. Drive process improvements using problem-solving tools and manufacturing best practices.
7. Control operational costs such as labor, inventory, scrap rates, and downtime to stay within budgets.
8. Maintain compliance with quality systems, FDA good manufacturing practices, and safety policies.
9. Ensure all employees are trained and adhere to SOPs, Work Instructions, and cGMP procedures.
10. Assist with safety investigations and corrective actions as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent; degrees in engineering, Business Management, or Operations Management are preferred. Alternatively, 5+ years of experience in a filling/packaging environment.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a filling and packaging environment; experience in cosmetics or pharmaceuticals is preferred.
