Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC is seeking a capable Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations in our Georgia facility. The role includes recruiting hourly staff, planning and assigning work, and coordinating with other departments to boost efficiency.

You will coach and motivate the team, control costs to protect gross profit, ensure equipment reliability via third-party vendors, and uphold safety and security procedures. On-site presence is required with potential for a bonus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Standing/Walking 75% of the time


• Stand or sit for long periods of time


• Reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch and frequently required to climb or balance


• Regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds by hand


• Job may require presence on-site at the assigned work location

OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Ability to analyze and resolve complex warehouse operational issues.


• Ability to be a team-player and work effectively with senior-level staff.


• Ability to manage and lead staff to excellent performance.


• Proficient at MS Office


• Ability to pay attention to detail and be highly organized.


• Ability to handle warehouse accounting and book-keeping.


• Working knowledge of electronic inventory control system


• Working knowledge of safety and security procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma/GED is required.


• 5 or more years of experience with warehouse work.


• 3 or more years of supervisory or management experience

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

• Professional certification may be required in some areas.
