Job summary

Loomis is seeking an Operations Manager in California to lead armored route operations, vault and facility security, and ensure a high level of service delivery. You will implement Loomis policies and procedures, monitor daily operations, and assist with long-term planning with management to cultivate a safe, productive, and employee-centered culture.

The role requires coordinating route, dispatch, vault, and terminal activities, supervising supervisors, overseeing vehicle and equipment

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of leadership experience (a plus).
• Logistics or transportation experience required.
• College education or military experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of safety and security experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and develop operations personnel including supervisors.
• Oversight of route, dispatch, vault, and terminal operations.
• Coordinate maintenance of vehicles and equipment with preventive maintenance.
• Control operating costs and improve efficiency.
• Ensure safety of employees, vehicles, and facilities through training and enforcement.
• Ensure security of cargo and terminals via procedures.
• Investigate accidents and complete required paperwork.
• Develop customer service capabilities among operations staff and address inquiries.
