Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead warehouse operations in Kentucky. The role includes recruiting hourly staff, planning and directing shifts, and managing performance through coaching and motivation.

You will coordinate with other departments to improve efficiency and safeguard assets. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in warehousing and at least 3 years in supervisory roles, with strong MS Office and inventory control system skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• 5 or more years of experience with warehouse work.
• 3 or more years of supervisory or management experience.

Job description

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Standing/Walking 75% of the time
• Stand or sit for long periods of time
• Reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch and frequently required to climb or balance
• Regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds by hand

OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Ability to analyze and resolve complex warehouse operational issues.
• Ability to be a team-player and work effectively with senior-level staff.
• Ability to manage and lead staff to excellent performance.
• Proficient at MS Office
• Ability to pay attention to detail and be highly organized.
• Ability to handle warehouse accounting and book-keeping.
• Working knowledge of electronic inventory control system
• Working knowledge of safety and security procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• 5 or more years of experience with warehouse work.
• 3 or more years of supervisory or management experience

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

• Professional certification may be required in some areas.
