OnTrac is seeking an Operations Manager in Reno, NV to provide strategic leadership and oversee day-to-day warehouse activities at our facility on Virginia Street.

You will manage personnel, implement efficient processes, and sustain a positive work culture while aligning with company goals and service commitments. This onsite role requires a hands-on leader with a track record in last-mile or parcel operations.

Qualifications

• GED/Diploma required; Bachelor's in Logistics or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience; 2 years in a similar industry.
• 6 years' experience in industry or related field; or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Guide and direct facility management in the development, production, promotion, and financial aspects of the organization's services
• Direct, plan and budget preparation based on corporate goals and objectives
• Evaluate the results of overall operations regularly. Systematically report these results to the Regional Operations and General Managers
• Responsible for coaching, skills development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity for hourly and salaried positions
• Ensure adherence to all aspects of the contract and work with Vendors and Independent Contractors for accountability to the operating agreement

OnTrac is hiring an Operations Manager in Reno, NV!

Location: 9715 N Virginia St, Reno, NV 89506. This position is performed onsite at one of the Company’s operational facilities, unless otherwise specified in the job posting.

Compensation: The expected starting base pay range for this position is $84,000 - $105,000,with full potential base salary range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $105,000- $126,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.

Shift: Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM (Schedule subject to change based on the needs of the business)

Employment Logistics:

As the Operations Manager at OnTrac, you will report to the General Manager. You will play a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership as well as overseeing andoptimizingthe day-to-day activities to ensure efficiency and productivity. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around managing personnel, implementing strategic processes, and sustaining a positive work culture within the warehouse.

The Must-Haves:

• GED/Diploma required, bachelor's degree in Logistics or related discipline preferred
• A minimum of 5 years’ management experience, 2 in a similar industry; or equivalent combination of both education and specific work experience
• 6 years' experience in industry or related field; or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Last-mile delivery or Small Parcel experience highly desired
• Experience with an independent contractor model; strong negotiation skills
• Ability to inspire a shared vision, empower and engage a team
• Strong organization and time-management skills utilizing MS Office Suite

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

• You will regularly need to talk or listen.
• You will frequently need to stand, walk, sit, and use your hands to handle or feel.
• The physical activity associated with this position is considered high. You will regularly lift, push, pull and/or move items averaging 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
• You are occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
