Job Summary

The Manager of Operations, Release of Information has the overall responsibility to ensure all required tasks are performed in a consistent, timely, and highly professional manner. This role involves ensuring that objectives, principles, values, mission, and foundation are clearly stated. The position also ensures that operational activities are strategically organized and focused on achieving regional and company-wide goals, with an emphasis on employee engagement, work quality, operational efficiency, planning, customer-oriented thinking, and P&L profitability. The Manager will work closely with the Director of Operations and other leaders to implement processes that ensure exemplary member experience and market-leading performance. Up to 25% travel may be required.

Essential Job Functions

  • Organizational Leadership: Set the tone and vision, lead client meetings, manage a team of release of information specialists, delegate tasks, make decisions, work with regional counterparts for process standardization, and set performance metrics.

Employee Responsibilities

  • Hire, retain, coach, and mentor staff; maintain core values and culture; ensure daily coverage and adherence to schedules; collaborate with global partners; conduct weekly 1-on-1s.

Client Responsibilities

  • Manage new client implementations, coordinate communication, prepare reports, update training materials, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and monitor client concerns.

Financial Management

  • Assist with budgeting, analyze financial performance, and explore growth opportunities.

Customer Service Responsibilities

  • Strengthen client relationships, identify growth opportunities, develop new relations, and coordinate with Client Success.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods, lift 25 lbs., communicate effectively, and have good visual and auditory acuity.

HIPAA/Compliance

  • Maintain privacy, comply with regulations, report unethical behavior, and maintain HIPAA certification.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and experience preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills; ability to handle confidential information; willingness to travel.
