Apex Service Partners, LLC seeks a Plumbing Operations Manager to lead the Ann Arbor plumbing department, building a high-performing team and scalable processes for growth. You will drive recruitment, coaching, and accountability while ensuring top-tier customer experience and safety standards.

On-site leadership is required to manage daily field operations, monitor KPIs, and partner with sales, dispatch, and support to align execution with business goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience within plumbing, HVAC, construction, or field service.
• Experience recruiting, developing, and retaining high-performing field teams.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making in fast-paced environments.
• Experience managing operational metrics and process improvements.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proven leader who enjoys building high-performing teams, developing people, and creating scalable processes that support long-term growth. While plumbing knowledge is ideal, we welcome candidates with strong leadership backgrounds in home services and other field-based industries where customer experience, accountability, operational excellence, and team development are critical to success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of plumbing professionals to achieve performance goals and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Drive department growth through recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and developing top plumbing talent.
• Build a high-performing culture centered around accountability, quality, safety, and customer experience.

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of leadership experience within plumbing, HVAC, electrical, construction, field service, or similar operational environments.
• Home services experience preferred, but not required.
• Proven success leading teams, driving accountability, and delivering measurable business results.
• Experience recruiting, developing, and retaining high-performing field teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing operational metrics and implementing process improvements.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and team-building skills.
• Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar field service management platforms is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site as a hands-on leader throughout the Ann Arbor market.
