$85.00/hr - $100.00/hr

Job Title: Operations Manager – Multi-Site Apheresis Services

Location: NE United States – Remote via home + 75% travel, expenses paid (some weekend travel)

Job Type: Consultant / Hourly contract with 40+ hours per week

Reports to: Director of Clinical Operations / Executive Leadership

Our client is a therapeutics firm specializing in apheresis & infusion healthcare, with multiple locations dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care and advanced therapeutic procedures. Their mission is to provide life-saving treatments with compassion, excellence, and efficiency. As they expand, we're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and streamline operations across several sites.

Position Summary:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring seamless daily operations across multiple apheresis centers. This individual will lead teams, standardize procedures, implement quality improvement initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance—ultimately supporting clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operational activities at all locations in New York, Massachusetts and Maine, to ensure efficiency, consistency, and quality of care.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff, physicians, and administrative teams to streamline workflows and improve service delivery.
  • Monitor staffing levels, schedules, and productivity; coordinate hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Drive compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization across sites.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures and best practices.
  • Support the integration of new technologies, process improvements, and expansion efforts.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between corporate leadership and on-site teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field (Master’s preferred, but not required).
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within a healthcare or apheresis setting.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-site clinical operations.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and accreditation requirements for apheresis and/or transfusion services.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable with data-driven decision making and operational analytics.
  • Willingness to travel between locations as needed.
