ROLE:

We are seeking an exceptional Operations Manager to partner with the Store Director, contributing to the management of the store and leading operations both in the Front and Back of House.

MISSION:

  • A strong understanding of Inventory Control including Cycle Counts, Discrepancy reports, Negative on Hand daily monitoring and research, Open Documents and BoH organization.
  • Ability to lead a yearly inventory inclusive of inventory preparation, mapping, delegating and scanning.
  • A solid understanding of Inventory discrepancy reports and the research involved to solve both shortages and overages.
  • The ability to conquer to do lists through prioritizing, planning and execution.
  • Management of the Before and After Sales repair processes.
  • Oversee the Back of House performance and activities in order to smooth operations and facilitate the collaboration between the front and back of house teams.
  • Supervise cash operations making sure that transactions are done correctly without discrepancies.
  • Oversee the stockroom organization and activities to maximize store productivity.
  • Assist with the monitoring of store BoH expenses, and maintenance of the store operating budget.
  • Develop and implement business action plans to enhance BoH processes.
  • Monitor and support the in-store daily operation of inventory management.
  • Arrange and conduct monthly coaching sessions with BoH staff to review performance and provide constructive, timely feedback.
  • Facilitate and coordinate the collaboration between the store and Corporate departments in order to meet all DG policies and procedures.
  • Provide accurate schedules for the BoH staff in accordance with the FoH activities and needs.
  • Participate and, if requested, lead daily store meetings to communicate current business trends, relevant updates and motivate store employees to perform.
  • Follow up with store project (new opening, closing, renovation, or relocation, etc.); timely communicate with different departments within the company and coordinate the action rundown plan with complete checklist so that the project can meet deadlines and standards.
  • Train and develop BoH staff.
  • Participate in attracting, recruiting, and retaining a high performing BoH team.
  • Perform with high integrity in company compliance with Corporate departments.
  • Ensure the in-store implementation of Corporate operation guidelines and regulation policies.
  • Be a role model ensuring the highest level of client service.
  • Represent the brand as an ambassador by promoting its values and ambitions within the market place.
