Avery Dennison is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the plant operations team in Miamisburg, OH. You will drive safety, quality, cost efficiency, and productivity across three shifts, reporting to the Plant Manager.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the leadership team, improving processes, and developing staff while managing budget and cross-functional initiatives. This on-site role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Two+ years in operations management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business preferred.
• Strong safety, quality, GMP, housekeeping knowledge.
• ERP systems fluency with analytical approach.
• Proven ability to influence, negotiate and lead teams through change.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations teams across three shifts to meet daily goals.
• Provide leadership to front-line managers and align with the leadership team.
• Maintain a healthy and safe workplace through safety programs and housekeeping standards.
• Drive improvements in quality, cost, productivity, waste reduction, and customer satisfaction.
• Review and optimize operational processes to increase capacity and accountability.
• Foster engagement and develop talent and retain top performers.
• Assist with annual budget, expenditures, variances, and cross-functional tool enhancements.
