Job summary

United Rentals in Salt Lake City is seeking an Operations Manager to guide the delivery of quality service and maximize branch productivity. You will work with the Branch Manager to ensure safety, policy compliance, and efficient operations.

The role requires 3+ years in sales and operations, strong leadership, and proficient MS Office skills, especially Excel. A high school diploma is required, a bachelor's degree is preferred, and a valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales and operational experience.
• Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry or related.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable record.
• High School diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives.
• Assist Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with all company policies.
• Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives.
• Responsible for performance management of direct staff including Inside Sales Reps, Drivers, and other staff as applicable.
• Motivate, coach and train personnel.
• Promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership, exemplary personal compliance, accountability and communication.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
