Job summary

Club Studio is seeking an Operations Manager in Training to build and lead a high-performing fitness-minded team across our boutique studios. You will recruit, train, and empower staff while driving outstanding member experiences and service standard adherence.

You will partner with management to set daily targets, oversee front desk operations, recovery lab, and janitorial functions, and help ensure a profitable club through effective teamwork and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing Front Desk, Studio team, Recovery lab and Janitorial departments.
• Arrange and manage staff scheduling.
• Help run a clean and profitable club by collaborating with managers and team members.
• Learn and sell fitness modalities and studio classes.
• Ensure team communicates studio concepts clearly.
• Support community outreach and plan in-studio events with the studio director.
• Daily 15-minute morning strategy meetings with GM and Studio Director.

Club Studio is comprised of five innovative boutique fitness studios that were carefully curated to create a unique member experience, along with plenty of free weights, strength and cardio areas, Olympic size swimming pool, functional and personal training area, full-size basketball court, locker rooms, and babysitting services. This is where your unlimited boutique studio classes and your state-of-the art gym have collided. Fitness in a class of its own.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Find hire, train a top talented team that is fitness minded and understands customer service.
• Set daily goals for yourself and your team to surpass company expectations.
• Assist in managing the Front Desk, Studio team, Recovery lab and Janitorial departments
• Arrange and manage scheduling for staff
• Assist in all aspects of running a clean and profitable club through team by working with all managers and team members to accomplish this
• Must be willing to learn the art of selling fitness and multiple modalities and studio classes
• Ensure that your team can communicate studio concepts
• Passionate about community outreach and help the studio director in planning in studio events
• Daily 15-minute morning meeting with GM, Studio Director and PTD to discuss any outstanding items from the previous and plan a strategy for the current day
• Generate new clients and encourage the team to do the same
• Create a positive, safe teamwork environment
• Take responsibility for all club needs. Step in and help out
• Understand and respect the definition of management – “the skill of attaining predetermined goals with and through voluntary cooperation and effort of others”
• Eager to continue to learn about management skills development.
• Be timely well dressed and ready to work

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Fitness industry experience and passion
• Work a minimum of 40 hrs. / 5 days a week/ responsible for weekend management
• Experience motivating a team
• Excellent organizational skills and quick to problem solve
• Passionate about growing your career in fitness and health with Club Studio
