Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking an Operations Manager – Manufacturing to lead day-to-day warehouse operations in Olive Branch, MS. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, policy development, budgeting, and safety compliance in a fast-paced supply chain.

You will drive strategic planning, coordinate with carriers and vendors, mentor staff, and ensure high service levels while controlling costs. Experience in distribution/logistics and a degree in Business or Logistics are preferred.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in distribution/logistics/warehouse environment.
• Minimum three years’ staff management experience (approx. 25 employees).
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
• Advanced MS Office, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with order entry and fulfillment systems.
• Experience with inventory control and cyclical audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of a medium-sized warehouse.
• Schedule and delegate work for the operations team.
• Drive long-range strategic planning for Operations and manufacturing.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and material control systems.
• Develop employees, training, productivity, and annual reviews.
• Manage facilities budget and ensure safety and compliance.
• Coordinate external communication with carriers, suppliers, and vendors.
• Monitor inbound/outbound transportation; negotiate carrier contracts.
