Job summary

Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions in Youngsville, NC, seeks an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead branch operations across production, sales, maintenance, quality, and shipping. You will own P&L and drive financial performance while implementing cost controls and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing with Lean methods, ERP experience, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; plus 10 years general management experience in manufacturing; prior architectural glass and aluminum, construction, or metal fabrication industry experience.
  • Prior P&L responsibility and experience highly preferred.
  • Must understand financial statements and be skilled in making business decisions based on financial data.
  • Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and Lean manufacturing techniques required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse workforce to meet aggressive financial and cultural expectations.
  • Excellent follow through and communication skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments.
  • Knowledge of general Manufacturing software, ERP software and core Microsoft Office suite software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Advanced Excel knowledge preferred.
  • Must have strong leadership, mentoring and employee development skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments.
  • Experience with plant recovery processes and continuous improvement processes.
  • Bilingual a plus (Spanish & English).

Responsibilities

  • Communicates the Trulite strategic vision to the Branch Management team.
  • Directs branch operations for production, sales, maintenance, quality, and shipping and receiving.
  • Has P&L responsibility for branch and ensures that financial goals are met.
  • Implements cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, workforce, wages, and use of labor.
  • Directs and monitors overall plant performance for production and quality standards through branch leadership team.
  • Controls and minimizes labor overtime, premium freight, and repair expenses.
  • Directs the maintenance of existing plant facilities and equipment; replaces or makes adjustments as needed.
  • Provides leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives.
  • Provides direction, development and leadership to plant manager, sales manager, and other leadership positions.
  • Directs appropriate safety conditions to ensure full OSHA compliance and reduce injuries.
  • Communicate regularly with senior management and support functions.
  • Other duties as required.

What You Will Be Doing

Communicates the Trulite strategic vision to the Branch Management team.
