Job summary

Neovia Logistics in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a facility operations coordinator to manage, plan, and coordinate daily operations, policies, and the use of materials and human resources to meet business requirements.

You will supervise purchasing of materials and equipment, oversee all operational activities for timely and efficient product distribution, and support the client’s operation while optimizing costs. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred from an accredited university.
• 3-5 years’ relevant experience in operations, warehousing and logistics.

• Manage, plan, or coordinate the purchasing of materials and equipment to ensure an uninterrupted supply at optimal cost.

• Manage, plan, or coordinate the support for a client’s operation and optimize costs.
• Manage, plan, or coordinate subordinate staff, reviews, and assess performance, supporting their professional development.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5years’ relevant experience with operations, warehouse, and logistics experience

• Requires work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.
• Requires frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.
• Requires lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling of various items of varying weight.
