The Hilton New York Times Square is seeking an Operations Manager to lead their hotel team! Located at the heart of Times Square, this upscale hotel soars 44 stories above Manhattan, offering 478 rooms with breathtaking views of Times Square and multiple food and beverage outlets.

This position will be the manager on duty during various shifts (including AM/PM/overnight) and will report to the Director of Operations. The ideal candidate will possess 4-5 years of hotel experience across departments such as Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Engineering. Knowledge of the New York Union, Local 6, and strong team-building and interpersonal skills are essential for success.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $85,000, with the final offer based on experience.

What will I be doing?

As Operations Manager, you will oversee hotel operations across various shifts to ensure guest satisfaction, profitability, cost control, and standards maintenance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delegating and inspecting room and cleaning assignments for Housekeeping
  • Fostering team spirit and providing leadership and guidance
  • Training and supervising team members in all departments, conducting performance inspections
  • Communicating effectively with staff and guests, providing clear instructions
  • Monitoring team performance, conducting evaluations, and recognizing achievements
  • Greeting guests warmly, listening to their requests and issues
  • Managing hotel operations during stress and emergencies, resolving guest concerns
  • Recruiting, interviewing, and training staff
  • Acting as liaison with vendors to review hotel technology and products
