Job summary

Aptive Intelligent Pest Control is seeking an Operations Manager for the Indianapolis area. The role focuses on customer and employee retention, staffing, payroll, and achieving strong service center EBITDA with a hands-on leadership style.

You will oversee inventory, fleet, labor planning, and cross-functional collaboration to drive efficiency and growth, while delivering top-tier customer service and training. This is a full-time on-site role with advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years experience in management and/or a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field.
• Preferred a high school diploma or related education.
• General understanding of Profit and Loss.
• A US driver's license that has been valid for a minimum of 3 years is required.
• A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years).
• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires.
• Candidates must obtain and maintain all licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for customer retention, employee retention, and service center EBITDA.
• Continually monitor and balance labor utilization with production to optimize overall efficiencies.
• Responsible for all inventory and fleet within the service center.
• Direct hiring activities to ensure proper staffing for the service center while communicating with the recruiting lead.
• Manage payroll for Service Professionals, Lead Service Professionals, and Operations Supervisors.
• Set a clear vision and expectations for the work group.
• Strive to achieve high operational efficiency and effective labor management.
• Collaborate with Regional Operations Manager and Continuous Improvement to ensure growth and success.
