About the Role

We’re in the early stages of building out longevity-focused facilities within a retail-partnership franchise model, and we're looking for someone to own this build-out end to end.

From managing the physical construction and vendor relationships, to the cross-functional team standing it up, to the branding and in-store elements that bring the concept to life on-site, this is a highly cross-functional role, both internal and external facing, with a lot of ownership, autonomy, ambiguity, and room to grow as the footprint expands.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution of the flagship facility build-out and subsequent multi-site rollout, ensuring each location follows a consistent operational, physical, and brand concept.
• Lead all aspects of the physical build-out process: construction, permitting, contractor coordination, timelines, and site readiness.
• Source, negotiate with, and manage all vendor and contractor relationships involved in construction, fixtures, and site setup.
• Own project budgets across concurrent sites - track spend against forecast, flag variances, and make real-time trade-off decisions to keep projects on track.
• Hire, onboard, and manage every team member and vendor involved in a given build-out, from contractors to on-site staff, ensuring accountability and clear ownership at each stage.
• Partner with brand/marketing on in-store branding, signage, and packaging elements to ensure a consistent look and feel across all locations.
• Act as the connective tissue across internal teams (compliance, product, marketing, finance) and external partners (contractors, landlords, vendors, and eventually franchise partners) to keep every workstream aligned.
• Build the playbooks, SOPs, and systems that make future site and franchise rollouts repeatable and scalable.
• Lay the groundwork for a future franchise model, including standards and operational documentation franchisees will eventually follow.
• Travel to active project sites as needed (up to 50%).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction project management, retail/franchise build-outs, or multi-site operations management.
• Direct experience with franchise rollouts or opening multiple physical retail/commercial locations.
• Strong background in the physical/construction side of site build-outs (permitting, general contracting, timelines, site readiness).
• Proven vendor and contractor relationship management, including negotiation.
• Experience owning budgets across multiple concurrent projects.
• Highly cross-functional - comfortable working with internal teams and external partners simultaneously, and translating between the two.
• Sharp attention to detail balanced with the ability to make sound decisions quickly and with incomplete information.
• Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy and ambiguity.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in health, wellness, medical, or functional-medicine-adjacent retail environments.
• Experience building out the franchise/licensing side of a growing brand (standards docs, franchisee playbooks, training materials).
• Familiarity with branding and packaging execution at the physical retail level.
