Job summary

Monarca Food Solutions in Minford, Ohio, is hiring an Operations Manager to lead safety, quality, and continuous improvement across plant operations. You will work closely with maintenance, quality, sanitation, and supervision to meet daily production goals and develop staff.

This hands-on leadership role requires TPM/Lean experience, 5S, and strong problem solving. Associates degree required; bachelor's preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of managerial experience in manufacturing.
• Experience applying TPM/Lean principles.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with Operations & Maintenance to align goals.
• Create a culture of ownership and continuous improvement across all levels.
• Direct supervision of plant operations and maintenance functions.
• Develop and implement predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Schedule and execute maintenance to maximize equipment availability.
• Troubleshoot daily problems and prioritize actions for the team.
• Plan production processes and determine tools/materials required.
• Find ways to decrease cycle times and improve setup efficiency.
• Provide training and daily feedback to team members.
• Lead a safe, compliant manufacturing environment and enforce policies.
• Maintain 5S standards and clean work areas.
