About the Role

Our client, a major and reputable organization within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, is seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to oversee their facility in East London, Eastern Cape . This critical leadership role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective day-to-day operations, including production, logistics, quality control, and safety. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in operations management, particularly within a manufacturing or production environment in the FMCG sector. This position is pivotal for driving operational excellence and achieving strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize all aspects of the manufacturing and distribution operations to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Oversee inventory management, warehousing, and logistics to ensure smooth supply chain flow.

Requirements
