Project Manager – Environmental Compliance & Permitting

Located in the Houston, TX area, we are a long standing geotechnical engineering & environmental consulting firm founded in the 1950s that is 100% Employee‑Owned!

The Project Manager will oversee and manage projects related to environmental regulations and permitting processes. This role involves ensuring that projects comply with all relevant environmental laws and regulations while effectively communicating with stakeholders and leading project teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans for environmental compliance and permitting initiatives.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential environmental impacts and compliance issues.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Engage with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to facilitate permitting processes and maintain compliance.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and permits related to environmental projects.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
