Job summary

Recology King County is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily site operations at the Broadway Yard in Snohomish. You will supervise Operations Supervisors and ensure work aligns with approved plans, budgeting, and regulatory requirements.

You’ll drive safe, efficient operations and resolve customer inquiries when needed. The role requires strong leadership, effective budgeting, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Management experience in an industrial, construction, manufacturing, recycling/waste management environment or related industry.
• Principles of employee training, supervision, and evaluation.
• Supervisory techniques, resource allocation, planning and budgeting.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Manages operations of site consistent with established operating plans.
• Confirms assignments are allocated for efficient and safe operations.
• Ensures employees are trained and licensed to operate/maintain equipment.
• Follows policies, procedures, and collective bargaining agreement (as applicable).
• Identifies infractions and implements corrective actions.
• Maintains and analyzes operational records and generates reports.
• Investigates customer inquiries and disputes and resolves them.
• Assists in preparing budgets and staffing plans.
• May interact with government/city staff on behalf of the company.
• Represents the company in community activities.
