Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager for the Tucson, AZ location. You will oversee day-to-day operations, manage labor costs, and ensure projects meet schedules and budgets while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

The role requires coordinating scheduling, dispatch, and safety initiatives with front-line managers. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree and 5+ years of managerial experience, along with a valid driver's license and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion to drive revenue and customer service levels with a high sense of urgency.
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years managerial experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Must have excellent communication skills – responsible for communicating with internal and external customers to ensure satisfaction levels.
• Possess an ability for technical applications and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations in a fast paced environment
• Effectively control labor and material costs and ensure service levels meet customer expectations
• Ensure that projects are completed timely, below budget, and to the satisfaction of the customer
• Review monthly financial/operational reports and work with front-line managers to develop action plans to improve
• Assist with employee/job scheduling and assist with technical and mechanical troubleshooting
• Improve individual performance of the field force you manage through regular coaching of managers and yearly performance reviews
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing employees
• Effectively communicate with customers, ensuring the highest quality service has been provided
• Effectively develop and lead monthly safety meetings, department meetings and P&L reviews
• Other responsibilities as assigned
