Job summary

Maximus in San Diego seeks an experienced Operations Manager to oversee contract-driven programs in a performance-focused environment. You will ensure full compliance with contractual and corporate requirements while managing day-to-day operations in a cost-efficient manner.

Position is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities include supervising subcontractors, producing client reports, and developing policies to improve service levels and overall efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Prior management experience is preferred.
• Experience with startups and diverse communities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project compliance with all operational requirements of the contract and corporate policies.
• Manage all project tasks to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Supervise subcontractors providing services to programs.
• Oversee audits of operations.
• Produce monthly client and ad hoc reporting as needed.
• Collaborate with other managers to coordinate activities.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures with key stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Oversee development and implementation of innovative methodologies to improve service levels.
• Collaborate with other functions to ensure compliance.
• Monitor performance against internal or client KPIs.
• Generate solutions to issues or complex problems.
• Develop staff performance goals and monitor achievement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
