Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, seeks an Operations Manager (Site Manager 1) to lead day-to-day operations under the NITE contract in Virginia Beach. You will coordinate people, schedules, and resources to maintain high performance in a fast-paced, technical environment.

This full-time exempt role offers a salary range of $88,706 to $108,014.40, requires a Secret clearance, travel of 0–10%, and a strong emphasis on leadership, compliance, and mission readiness.

Qualifications

• 4 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 2 years with Masters; or HS diploma with 8 years experience.
• Experience managing or supporting Virtual and Constructive (V&C) training operations, range operations, and simulation activities.
• Experience supervising contractor or military personnel and scheduling workloads to meet mission requirements.
• Familiarity with DoD regulations, safety standards, and government meeting support.
• Ability to coordinate with government representatives and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manages Virtual and Constructive operations in accordance with contract requirements.
• Directs work of contractor personnel and supervisors.
• Implements technical, administrative, and financial controls for operations and maintenance.
• Ensures quality across maintenance, logistics support, security, transportation, training, safety, and documentation.
• Prepares reports to ensure contract compliance and coordinates range scheduling with Government representatives.
• Oversees staffing and schedules to optimize coverage and minimize overtime.
