Job summary

Global Elite Group at DEN Airport is seeking a security supervisor to lead station operations in Denver, CO. The role requires working with TSA regulations, staffing, and ensuring contract adherence.

Qualifications

  • Must have previous supervisory experience.
  • Outgoing personality and comfortable speaking to groups.
  • HS Diploma or GED.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication.
  • Willing and able to participate in a drug test.
  • Willing to pass a 10-year verifiable background check.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a SIDA badge with Customs seal.
  • Must be able to pass training classes.
  • Experience with basic office equipment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure security functions comply with TSA regulations and corporate policies.
  • Manage station staffing and scheduling procedures, including badging/licensing.
  • Ensure staffing hours align with contract with client.
  • Evaluate attendance and performance and administer corrective actions.
  • Handle payroll reporting within established guidelines and deadlines.
  • Maintain cost effective measures across the station.
  • Ensure reporting procedures are followed and communicated to staff.
  • Conduct daily briefings and occasional staff meetings.
  • Coordinate training with Training and Compliance on all station personnel training.
  • Safeguard company equipment and vehicles.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients.

Position Overview

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all security functions are performed in accordance with TSA (Transportation Security Administration) regulations and corporate policies.
  • Responsible for station staffing, and development of scheduling procedures, including their initial badging and in some cases licensing.
  • Responsible to ensure that staffing and scheduled hours are in accordance with contractual agreement with our client.
  • Evaluate station attendance and performance deficiencies and administer corrective measures in accordance with Human Resources policies.
  • Administer payroll reporting within the established guidelines and deadlines.
  • Ensure cost effective measures across the station.
  • Responsible for station compliance relating to all reporting procedures; administer procedural changes and ensure they are communicated effectively and efficiently with staff.
  • Conduct daily briefings and occasional staff meetings.
  • Working with the station administrator and coordinate with the Training and Compliance department on all training (initial and recurrent) of station personnel.
  • Safeguarding company equipment and vehicles.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients.
Qualifications
  • Must have previous supervisory experience
  • A proactive thinker with an outgoing personality who is comfortable speaking in front of groups and interacting with company colleagues and employees.
  • HS Diploma or G.E.D
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify
  • Must have great intrapersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively at various social levels across many diverse cultures
  • Willing and able to participate in a drug test (either pre-employment or random) with negative results
  • Must be willing to pass a 10-year verifiable background check (employment, education, criminal and personal references)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a SIDA badge with Customs seal as distributed by local airport authority and US Customs and Border Patrol
  • Must be able to pass any initial and recurrent training classes as administered by the company, and/or local airport authority
  • Must have experience working with basic office equipment (copier, scanner, fax, printer)
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook
