Job summary

Global Elite Group is seeking a Training Department lead responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the local training team at DEN. You will oversee aviation security training for new hires and ongoing programs, ensuring compliance, accuracy of reports, and alignment with security protocols.

The role requires strong communication with staff, clients, and authorities. Ideal candidates will have experience managing people, a relevant degree, and familiarity with airport security

Qualifications

• Detailed experience in managing people and processes.
• Proactive thinker with ability to lead staff and speak to groups.
• HS Diploma or Equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management or Security Management preferred.
• One year site-specific experience at DEN or airport per 49 CFR Part 1542.
• Must be 21+ years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Pass a drug test and 10-year background check.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook; ACE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct aviation security training for airport new hire employees.
• Conduct aviation security in-service training for current airport employees.
• Maintain accurate training reports and certificates for all airports.
• Liaise with airport managers and administrators to follow up on training needs.
• Develop and execute company training courses and updates.
• Coordinate with HDQ departments to maintain internal workflow.
• Assist in field audits and special projects as needed.

Position Overview

*Contingent Upon Contract Award* Has the overall responsibility to provide planning, coordination, and supervision of the local training department; initial and ongoing training and development of the Security Officer Guard Force at DEN.

The successful candidate will be:

• Security-minded, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective in communicating with employees, clients, and law enforcement or government agencies.
• Experienced in applying security management protocols to ensure compliance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for conducting aviation security training for airport new hire employees
• Responsible for conducting aviation security in-service training for current airport employees
• Assisting with maintaining accurate, and up to date training reports and certificates and for all airports
• Liaise with company airport managers and administrators to follow up on various training department needs
• Assisting with the entry of training payroll hours and compliance updates in
• Assist in the development and execution of company training courses
• Liaise with various departments in HDQ where necessary (notable Human Resources/Recruiting, Compliance, Operations and Finance) to maintain internal workflow
• Assist in the field with airport quality assurance audits and spot checks
• Assist with special projects and business continuity as needed

Qualifications

• Detailed experience in managing people and processes
• A proactive thinker with an outgoing personality who can use that personality speaking to groups and leading staff
• HS Diploma or Equivalent
• Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Management, Security Management, or a closely related field is preferred
• One (1) year site-specific experience at DEN or an airport regulated pursuant to 49 CFR Part 1542
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must have intrapersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively at various social levels across many diverse cultures
• Willing and able to participate in a drug test (either pre-employment or random) with negative results
• Pass a 10-year verifiable background check (employment, education, criminal and personal references)
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Airport issued identification badge distributed by local the airport authority and (potentially obtain a US Customs seal).
• Successfully pass all training provided by the Company and the Airport
• Experienced in general office computers and equipment applications
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook with experience working in various applications
• A.C.E certification preferred
