Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee front of house operations including breakfast service, banquets, catering functions, and front office, ensuring guest service excellence and sustainability standards.

The role offers a growth path from Front Desk Supervisor to Front Office Manager and requires flexibility with shifts, including weekends and holidays. You will coach staff, manage schedules, and uphold brand standards across operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of related hospitality experience.

Responsibilities

• Train, schedule, coach and support associates to align with brand standards and HHM values.
• Ensure quality standards of complimentary breakfast service and front office operations.
• Attend weekly meetings to coordinate banquet events and client requests.
• Assist Front Desk Manager in creating Front Office schedules.
• Manage labor and food cost within budgets and forecasts.
• Receive and inspect food orders from third party catering companies.
• Work as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Follow EarthView sustainability guidelines and MSDS/OSHA safety rules.

Front Desk Supervisor - Front Office Manager - Assistant General Manager

Your Focus

• Train, schedule, coach and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with HHM core values.
• Ensure quality standards of complimentary food service stations are maintained.
• Attend weekly meetings to ensure banquet event details are carried out consistent with client requests.
• Assist Front Desk Manager & Front Office Supervisor in creating Front Office Schedule.
• Manage labor and food cost expenses to fit within budgets and/or updated forecasts.
• Receive and inspect food orders from third party catering companies.
• Position will work shifts crossing over from Breakfast Attendant to Guest Service Agent.
• Create specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely action plans to remedy guest service deficiencies.
• Work as Manager on Duty, when necessary.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM's EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Background and Skill

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 2 years of related experience.

Work Environment and Context

• Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays and weekends.
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
