U.S. LUMBER (SBP Brand) in Warwick, NY is seeking an Operations Manager to lead our distribution facility and drive a safe, efficient, and teamwork-focused environment.

You will oversee personnel, equipment, property and inventory, ensuring staffing, productivity, and safety align with company values. Monday–Friday, first shift; a strong emphasis on coaching and development guides daily operations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
• Five years of distribution warehouse management experience with P&L responsibility.
• Three to five years experience in sit-down forklift operation.
• Lumber industry warehouse experience is preferred.
• Five years of employee coaching & development and excellent team-building skills.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor employee productivity; conduct reviews and document performance or conduct.
• Ensure material is received, stored, pulled and loaded safely and accurately.
• Interact with Human Resources on injured employees and restricted duty.
• Understand and comply with OSHA standards and requirements.
• Maintain and uphold the fire prevention program.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

We are currently looking for an Operations Manager at U.S. LUMBER an SBP Brand located in Warwick, NY to join our VALUES based organization. In this role you will focus on overall management of personnel, equipment, property and inventory of the facility. Developing and maintaining a great team work oriented environment, preserving employee morale, and providing a safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Recruiting, supervising, developing, and cross-training employees on an ongoing basis. Managing work schedules and overtime and approving weekly timecards.
• Develop and maintain a team work oriented environment while preserving employee morale and providing a safe and efficient work environment.
• Monitoring employee productivity, conducting documented employee reviews and constructively disciplining and documenting unsatisfactory employee performance and/or inappropriate conduct.
• Ensuring that all material is received, stored, pulled and loaded safely and accurately.
• Interacting with Human Resources on the status of injured employees and restricted duty.
• Understanding and compliance with OSHA standards and requirements
• Maintaining and upholding the fire prevention program.
• Other duties as requested and assigned by management.

• Five years of distribution warehouse management experience with P&L responsibility.
• Three to five years experience in sit down forklift operation (not electric box trucks).
• Lumber industry warehouse experience is preferred.
• Five years of employee coaching & development and excellent team-building skills.
