Job summary

FlexTek seeks a site-level leader to stand up a new chemical manufacturing plant in Arkansas. You will own production output, safety performance, cost control, and continuous improvement with autonomy to build systems and develop people.

You will collaborate with engineering, maintenance, supply chain, quality, and HSEQ to keep the plant running safely and reliably. This is a rare opportunity to shape a growing operation from the ground up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.
• 6–10+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass screening.

You own production output, safety performance, cost control, and continuous improvement for the operation - with real autonomy to build systems, develop people, and drive results. This is a new plant, so you are standing the operation up rather than inheriting someone else's.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

• Lead site operations across safety, environmental compliance, quality, cost control, and continuous improvement
• Drive production output, on-time shipping, yield optimization, and operating cost targets
• Build a culture of accountability - policy compliance, operational discipline, and safe work practices across all field personnel
• Coach supervisors and team leads on incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and corrective action
• Plan and staff operations resources to protect coverage, workforce effectiveness, and continuity
• Partner with engineering, maintenance, supply chain, quality, and HSEQ to keep the plant running safely and reliably

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
• 6-10+ years in a manufacturing environment
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass pre-employment background, medical, alcohol, and drug screening
