Operations Manager - Client Services and Field Operations

Greenville, SC | Field-Based | Company Vehicle Provided

A growing service organization is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee a major client portfolio in the Greenville market. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for client relationships, operational execution, team leadership, and service excellence across multiple locations.

This is not a traditional office-based position. The Operations Manager will spend most of their time meeting with clients, visiting sites, supporting Project Managers, and ensuring operational success throughout the region. A company vehicle and company credit card are provided.

What You'll Do

• Lead day-to-day operations across multiple client locations.
• Manage and develop a team of 2-3 Project Managers overseeing approximately 45 frontline employees.
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders through regular face-to-face interaction.
• Conduct site visits and operational reviews to ensure service quality and contract compliance.
• Coordinate subcontractors and service partners as needed.
• Resolve client concerns quickly and professionally.
• Monitor staffing, performance, quality metrics, and operational efficiencies.
• Partner with leadership on continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of operations, account management, facilities management, property services, hospitality, healthcare support services, retail multi-site management, or similar leadership experience.
• Experience managing supervisors, project managers, or site leaders.
• Strong customer-facing communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to travel throughout the Greenville market and work independently.
• Experience managing subcontractors or third-party service providers is preferred.
• Professional, polished presence with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to meet client needs, including occasional early morning, evening, or off-hours meetings.
