Operations Manager – Low Voltage & Electronic Security
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to take a leadership role overseeing project delivery, service operations, and field teams across multiple regions.
This is a high-impact opportunity for a seasoned professional with a background in low-voltage systems, electronic security, project management, and field operations who enjoys leading teams and improving the way projects and service operations are executed.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining strong relationships with customers and employees. This position will work closely with project management, sales, engineering, technicians, and leadership to drive operational excellence and continued growth.
What You’ll Do
- Lead day-to-day field and operational activities across multiple regions.
- Manage, mentor, and support Project Managers, Technicians, and administrative personnel.
- Oversee project schedules, staffing, resource allocation, materials, and subcontractor coordination.
- Ensure successful transitions from sales and engineering into project execution.
- Monitor project progress, costs, schedules, and overall performance.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while serving as an escalation point for complex issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, communication, productivity, and profitability.
- Establish and monitor operational KPIs and provide performance updates to leadership.
- Manage operational budgets and implement strategies to control costs and improve margins.
- Champion safety, quality, training, and professional development throughout the organization.
- Help develop and implement standardized processes and best practices across regional operations.
- Support a culture of accountability, teamwork, customer service, and continuous improvement.
Systems & Technology
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on knowledge of low-voltage and electronic security systems, including some combination of:
- Access Control
- IP Video / CCTV
- Structured Cabling
- Audio/Visual Systems
- Intercom Systems
- Nurse Call Systems
- Security and building technology
- Related low-voltage infrastructure
Experience working with project management platforms, scheduling tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office is also preferred.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in the low-voltage, electronic security, or related technology industry.
- 3+ years of leadership or management experience overseeing field operations, project teams, or service organizations.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex installations, projects, and/or service contracts.
- Strong understanding of project execution, scheduling, resource planning, and cost management.
- Proven ability to lead and develop technical teams.
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of budgets, margins, and operational KPIs.
- Excellent communication, customer service, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to analyze operational data and turn it into actionable improvements.

Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds above waist level.
