Momenta, Inc. in Portsmouth, NH, is seeking an Operations Manager to support our supply chain from factory to customer.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, place POs, manage overseas factory relationships, inbound logistics, 3PL warehousing and outbound shipments in a hybrid role with three days in the office. This position emphasizes freight management, compliance, chargebacks, and weekly inventory reconciliation with 3PL partners.

Qualifications

• 5 years of management experience in a logistics environment.
• Experience managing 3PLs.
• Understanding of all transportation modes (LTL, TL, ocean, air).
• Familiarity with HTS codes and duties.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Experience with high-volume consumer goods supply chains.

• BS in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field.

Description

Momenta is a fast-growing, design-led CPG company bringing innovative arts & crafts products to major retailers including Walmart, Michaels, Office Depot, and Hobby Lobby. We are looking for a Operations Manager to support our supply chain - from factory to customer - and help us build a scalable, reliable operation as we grow.

Role Description

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business including placing POs / managing relationships with overseas factories, managing inbound logistics, 3PL relationship, and outbound shipments to customers. Responsible for all freight relationships, compliance issues and resolving chargebacks.

• Manage all aspects of Purchase Orders
• Coordinate testing / inspections of goods based on product or customer requirements, working with 3rd party subject experts to ensure appropriate testing is performed, and company / products meets all the necessary regulations and standards.
• Manage 3PL Warehousing & Freight Logistics
• Manage all chargebacks / compliance issues. Work with the Sales, Accounting and 3PL to dispute chargebacks and prevent future noncompliance issues.
• Reconcile Inventory with 3PL on a weekly basis, researching and adjusting for any discrepancies

Qualifications:

• 5 years management experience in a logistics environment
• Experience managing 3PLs
• Understanding of all modes of transportation: LTL, TL, vessels/ocean, and air
• Familiarity with HTS Codes and duties
• Strong leadership and communication skills, but also analytical and capable of diving into the details.
• Experience with a high volume, consumer goods supply chain
• A "do what it takes" attitude who is not afraid to roll up his/her sleeves and get work done
• B.S in Supply Chain, Logistics or similar field
