Avenues Recovery is opening a new inpatient extended care rehab facility in Norfolk, VA and seeks an Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, maintenance, and staff coordination. The role involves ensuring safety, compliance, and smooth facility functioning to support patient care.

Responsibilities include managing maintenance, supervising custodial staff, coordinating external contractors, and providing administrative support as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year in substance abuse treatment industry preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong observational and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and multitask.
• Demonstrated responsibility and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete maintenance of facility and property (fire drills, vehicle maintenance, tech support, inventory, storage etc.).
• Complete periodic maintenance checklists to ensure functionality, safety and compliance.
• Oversee and direct custodial and housekeeping staff and all external contractors.
• Provide operational support whenever needed (e.g administrative errands, transportation coordination, event planning, security oversight, Accounts Payable etc.).
• Collaborate with Executive Director and Administrator as necessary.

What You'll Do
