Job summary

Reason Brand Inc. in New York, NY is seeking an experienced Operations/Office Manager to run the day-to-day across all departments and work directly with the owners.

This onsite role supports design, production, sales, ecommerce and fulfillment from Midtown. The position requires strong organizational skills, ERP familiarity, and a track record of delivering on deadlines in a fast-paced apparel environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations or office management, ideally apparel or fast consumer business.
• Managed people and held someone to a standard they were not meeting.
• Comfortable with ERP; apparel systems are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the shared calendar across design, production, sales, ecommerce and fulfillment; run weekly meetings and chase delays.
• Manage day-to-day of office staff and remote team; know what everyone is working on and raise problems early.
• Scope and manage remote contractors; review output and billing.
• Keep warehouse, freight partners and vendors aligned with ship dates.
• Provide owners with a weekly summary of shipped items, slips, and blockers.

Reason Brand is a New York apparel company. We own and operate several fashion brands and licences and we produce licensed apparel for film and television properties. We sell to all major retailers. About 40 people. We move fast and we expect people to own their work.

We are looking for someone to run the day to day of the office across every department, working directly with the owners.

What you'll do

• Own the shared calendar across design, production, sales, ecommerce and fulfillment. Run the weekly meetings and chase what is late.
• Manage the day to day of our office staff and remote team. Know what everyone is working on and raise problems while they are still small.
• Scope and manage remote contractors, including reviewing their output and their billing.
• Keep the warehouse, freight partners and vendors moving in step with our ship dates.
• Give the owners a weekly summary of what shipped, what slipped and what is blocked.

What we're looking for

• 5 or more years in operations or office management, ideally apparel or another fast consumer business
• You have managed people and held someone to a standard they were not meeting
• Comfortable in an ERP. Apparel systems are a plus.
• Know the wholesale calendar: market dates, cancel dates, retailer routing
• Organized on paper, not in your head
• Direct. You can tell an owner something is not going to make its date.
