Responsibilities

  • Oversee supply chain and production management from procurement to final delivery.
  • Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, inventory planning, and reconciliation across channels.
  • Manage Shopify product setup, launches, and inventory syncing; support ecommerce ops.
  • Lead wholesale order lifecycle, showroom-to-fulfillment, and partner coordination.
  • Develop/maintain ERP, EDI, and order management processes; implement SOPs.
  • Track budgets, analyze margins by channel, and prepare performance reports.

About the Role

We are currently seeking an Operations and Logistics Manager based in NYC to oversee the operational execution of the company's logistics, supply chain, and inventory functions. This role requires an extremely organized, self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented candidate focused on improving operational efficiency and performance. The ideal candidate is a strong problem-solver with excellent analytical, operational, and communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Operations and Logistics Manager will oversee end-to-end operational functions, ensuring seamless execution across both direct-to-consumer (DTC) and wholesale channels. This role is responsible for optimizing processes, managing inventory flow, coordinating production timelines, and delivering exceptional customer and partner experiences aligned with the brand's luxury positioning.

Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain & Production Management
  • Own the full product lifecycle from production through final delivery
  • Partner with manufacturers to manage production timelines, quality control, and delivery schedules
  • Build and maintain production calendars and ensure on-time execution
  • Troubleshoot delays and implement contingency plans
Inventory & Logistics
  • Oversee all inbound and outbound logistics (domestic international)
  • Manage wholesale fulfillment, including shipping to department stores and key accounts
  • Own inventory planning, tracking, and reconciliation across all sales channels
  • Oversee all warehouse functions, including receiving, quality control, storage, inventory handling, and shipping
  • Manage pick, pack, and fulfillment processes for wholesale orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain luxury-level packaging standards and unboxing experience
  • Monitor stock levels to minimize overstock and stockouts
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipping
  • Maintain working knowledge of international shipping requirements, including tariff classifications, duty codes (HS codes), and applicable duty rates to ensure accurate costing and customs compliance
  • Implement inventory controls and conduct regular audits
Retail/ Ecommerce Operations
  • Manage product setup and maintenance within Shopify, including product pages, SKUs, pricing, variants (size/color), and inventory syncing
  • Ensure accurate and timely product launches aligned with seasonal calendars
  • Coordinate product imagery, descriptions, and merchandising details to reflect brand standards
  • Troubleshoot site or product listing issues and ensure a seamless customer experience
Wholesale Operations
  • Manage wholesale order lifecycle from showroom appointments through fulfillment
  • Coordinate with retail partners, buyers, and distributors on delivery schedules and requirements
  • Oversee order entry, invoicing, and compliance with retailer routing guides
  • Support market appointments, trade shows, and seasonal line presentations
Systems & Process Optimization
  • Manage ERP, EDI, inventory management, and order management systems
  • Identify inefficiencies and develop scalable operational processes
  • Create SOPs to ensure consistency across all operational functions
Financial & Reporting
  • Track and manage operational budgets, including production, shipping, and warehousing costs
  • Analyze margins by channel and recommend cost-saving opportunities
  • Prepare regular reports on inventory, sell-through, and operational performance
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Act as the liaison between design, production, sales, finance, and customer experience teams
  • Ensure alignment on seasonal calendars, product launches, and go-to-market strategies
Qualifications:
  • 5-8 years in operations, logistics, or supply chain (fashion, apparel, or consumer goods strongly preferred)
  • Experience working within a scaling brand
  • Strong knowledge of:
