Ecowaste Solutions is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations at one of our facilities. The role requires leadership in trucking, transportation, or waste management, with hands-on knowledge of DOT regulations.

You will drive performance, uphold safety and compliance standards, and build a strong, respectful team culture while ensuring routes, schedules, and vehicles run efficiently and safely. The company offers weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years in a driver supervision role with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience in trucking, transportation, or waste management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations at the facility and drive performance.
• Ensure safety and DOT compliance across routes and vehicles.
• Plan routes, schedules, and vehicle utilization for efficiency and safety.
• Inspect vehicles and perform preventive maintenance oversight.
• Coordinate with teams, prepare production and labor reports as required.
• Foster a trustworthy, respectful, and productive work environment.
• Address accidents or incidents and initiate corrective actions as needed.

Ecowaste Solutions is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations at one of our facilities. The ideal candidate brings a leadership background in trucking, transportation, or waste management, with hands‑on knowledge of DOT regulations. You'll be responsible for driving performance, upholding safety and compliance standards, and building a strong, respectful team culture while ensuring routes, schedules, and vehicles run efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Establishing and upholding a work environment dedicated to trust and respect.
• Familiarity with safe operation and preventive maintenance of heavy equipment.
• Driving business results. Making data‑based decisions at every level.
• Empowering and engaging operators.
• Setting vision and establishing objectives for the department.
• Recommending changes in methods or procedures to higher‑level management and implementing approved changes.
• Inspecting vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and performing preventative maintenance.
• Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules.
• Collecting and verifying delivery instructions.
• Preparing production reports, transfer of material reports, malfunctioning equipment reports, and all other MRP and labor hour reports as required.
• Assisting in the investigation, reporting and initiation of corrective actions for accidents, job‑related injuries, and employee discrepancies.
• Proficient verbal and written English communication skills.
