Job summary

Ecowaste Solutions is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily waste collection, transportation, disposal, and recycling operations. You will lead drivers and support staff, optimize routes, monitor fleet performance, and ensure regulatory compliance while managing budgets and safety programs.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with experience in waste management or related logistics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • 3–7 years of operations management experience in waste management, transportation, logistics, or fleet operations.
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, OSHA requirements, and environmental compliance standards.
  • Experience managing large teams and vehicle fleets.
  • Proficiency with routing, dispatch, and fleet management software preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily waste collection, transportation, disposal, and recycling operations.

  • Track and report operational KPIs including route completion, productivity, and customer service metrics.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate operational employees.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to support growth and service quality.

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily waste collection, transportation, disposal, and recycling operations. Physical Requirements and Work Environment
