We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our logistics operations in Irvine, CA.

Core Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of dispatchers, drivers, and support staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
• Operational Efficiency: Oversee daily operations, including route planning, driver scheduling, and resource allocation, to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and implement strategies to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
• Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
• Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards, including biohazard handling and transportation protocols.
• Performance Monitoring: Track key performance metrics (e.g., on-time delivery rates, driver productivity) and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing the operations budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
• Technology Utilization: Leverage dispatch software, GPS systems, and other tools to optimize operations and enhance decision-making.
• Problem Resolution: Address and resolve operational challenges, including route delays, vehicle issues, and staffing shortages.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute long-term operational strategies and goals.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operations management, logistics, or a similar role; experience in the medical courier or healthcare industry is a plus.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent planning, multitasking, and time-management abilities.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze data and implement effective solutions.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with logistics software and GPS systems.
