Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Operations Manager to lead daily operations at our Ohio locations. The role focuses on team development, project leadership, and delivering high-quality food service with safety and efficiency in mind.

You will train staff, drive branch initiatives, manage a company vehicle, and maintain strong customer relations while monitoring costs and ensuring goals are met across labor, inventory, and service levels. A dynamic, growth-oriented environment awaits.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist on projects assigned by the Branch Manager.
• Train and develop team members.
• Operate and maintain company vehicle for account travel.
• Maintain positive customer relations by visiting accounts.
• Identify equipment upgrade needs and schedule installations.
• Support branch programs and goals.
• Monitor inventory, labor, waste, and consumption metrics.
• Address customer inquiries within 24 hours.
• Perform other duties as required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the training and development of team members
• Lead and assist on projects assigned by the Branch Manager
• Operate and maintain company-owned vehicle in a safe manner; to be used for the purpose of traveling to accounts
• Maintain positive customer relations by visiting accounts
• Recognize needs for equipment upgrades and schedule installations of new vending machines
• Support company programs and branch goals
• Monitor inventory percentages, direct labor costs, waste percentages, inventory levels and consumption
• Address customer inquiries/complaints within 24 hours
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Previous vending experience is preferred
• Ability to manage financials and achieve goals
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with fellow workers and customers
• Ability to effectively work independently and utilize time efficiently
• Valid Driver's License with good driving history
