Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Operations Manager to lead our field team and drive daily operations across accounts. The role demands hands-on leadership, customer focus, and the ability to manage resources efficiently as you travel to assigned accounts.

You will train staff, coordinate with the Branch Manager, schedule equipment installations, monitor inventory and costs, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Previous vending experience is preferred.
• Ability to manage financials and achieve goals.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with fellow workers and customers.
• Able to work independently and utilize time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop team members.
• Lead projects assigned by the Branch Manager.
• Safely operate company vehicle for travel to accounts.
• Visit accounts to maintain positive customer relations.
• Schedule installations of new vending machines as needed.
• Support branch programs and goals.
• Monitor inventory, direct labor costs, waste, and usage.
• Address customer inquiries/complaints within 24 hours.
• Perform other duties as required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the training and development of team members
• Lead and assist on projects assigned by the Branch Manager
• Operate and maintain company-owned vehicle in a safe manner; to be used for the purpose of traveling to accounts
• Maintain positive customer relations by visiting accounts
• Recognize needs for equipment upgrades and schedule installations of new vending machines
• Support company programs and branch goals
• Monitor inventory percentages, direct labor costs, waste percentages, inventory levels and consumption
• Address customer inquiries/complaints within 24 hours
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Previous vending experience is preferred
