Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic and optimistic leader to immediately fill the role of Operations Manager, Full-time, in the Columbus, Ohio area. The company has a long-standing history since 1960, delivering high-quality food service with impeccable service and total value.

The Operations Manager will train and develop team members, lead branch projects, and manage company vehicles while visiting accounts.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to operate a company vehicle.
• Vending experience preferred.
• Ability to manage financials and achieve goals.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with fellow workers and customers.
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving history.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the training and development of team members.
• Lead and assist on projects assigned by the Branch Manager.
• Operate and maintain company-owned vehicle for travel to accounts.
• Maintain positive customer relations by visiting accounts.
• Recognize needs for equipment upgrades and schedule installations of vending machines.
• Support branch programs and goals.
• Monitor inventory percentages, direct labor costs, waste percentages, inventory levels and consumption.
• Address customer inquiries/complaints within 24 hours.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:
