Road & Rail Services in Greensburg, IN is seeking an Operations Manager to provide leadership and oversight for assigned areas, ensuring site compliance with Safety, SOPs, and customer requirements. You will guide teams to deliver rail-related services safely and efficiently.

This role requires supervising staff, enforcing attendance, and driving continuous improvement through audits, training, and performance development while upholding the company’s ethics and core principles in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic experience a plus.
• Microsoft Office knowledge is a must.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Able to meet attendance requirements.
• A teamwork, can-do attitude and willing to learn.
• Valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all industry, customer and company safety regulations and operating procedures
• Embody the Ethical practices and Core Principles of the Company
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance within the scope of duties, included but not limited to hire, fire, promotions, or other changes in employee status
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable Company, Customer, OSHA, EPA, FRA and DOT regulations by performing key audits and/or relevant inspections. These are included but are not limited to AAR, ISA, ISO, etc..
• Ensuring all associates understand and comply with applicable customer and company work instructions, quality procedures and site SOP's
• Continually seek and document methods for improvement in the quality of the services being provided and the efficiency in which those services are conducted
• Setting and monitoring specific developmental and performance goals for associates
