Job summary

Road & Rail Services in Greensburg, IN is seeking an Operations Manager to lead site safety, quality and performance. You will oversee assigned areas, ensure SOPs and customer requirements are met, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced logistics environment.

We value a strong team player with supervisory experience and a willingness to learn. A valid driver's license and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• 3 or more years of Supervisory experience.
• Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic experience a plus.
• Microsoft Office knowledge is a must.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Able to meet attendance requirements.
• A teamwork, can-do attitude and willing to learn.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all industry, customer and company safety regulations and operating procedures.
• Embody the Ethical practices and Core Principles of the Company.
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance within the scope of duties, included but not limited to hire, fire, promotions, or other changes in employee status.
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable Company, Customer, OSHA, EPA, FRA and DOT regulations by performing key audits and/or relevant inspections. These are included but are not limited to AAR, ISA, ISO, etc..
• Ensuring all associates understand and comply with applicable customer and company work instructions, quality procedures and site SOP's
• Continually seek and document methods for improvement in the quality of the services being provided and the efficiency in which those services are conducted
• Setting and monitoring specific developmental and performance goals for associates
