Position Overview

The Operations Manager is responsible for leading field-based technical teams and optimizing the people, processes, and day-to-day operations that drive successful service delivery. This role partners closely with branch leadership to improve operational efficiency, support revenue growth, and ensure high-quality execution across systems integration and managed services.

As a key member of the branch management team, the Operations Manager provides leadership and oversight of technical operations, with a strong focus on team performance, resource management, process improvement, and operational execution. This role builds and develops high-performing teams through effective coaching, accountability, mentorship, and professional development.

What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 4+ years of experience managing and mentoring technical delivery, service, or support teams
  • Experience leading teams within AV, IT, systems integration, or related technical environments
  • Proven ability to hire, develop, and manage high‑performing, diverse teams
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to drive operational and financial performance
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and think strategically
  • Proficiency with business applications and multiple operating systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • AVIXA CTS certification (or ability to obtain within one year of hire)
  • Experience in audiovisual (AV) integration or related industry
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and compliance requirements
  • Experience supporting both systems integration and managed services teams
