Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking an Operations Manager to serve as a key site leader in a high-volume food manufacturing facility (800+ employees). You will drive operational excellence across Safety, Quality, Production, and Cost while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and team development.

Responsibilities include setting strategic objectives, managing the plant budget, and analyzing performance trends to guide long-term manufacturing strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory/management experience in a food manufacturing plant.
• Experience managing a facility with 800+ employees.
• Engineering background or related experience.
• Direct budgeting experience for the entire plant.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and GMP.
• High School Diploma or GED; associate/bachelor preferred.

• Develop and manage the annual Operations budget for the entire plant.
• Analyze performance trends and resource availability to execute long‑term manufacturing strategies.

• Coach, mentor, and build accountability across production teams.
• Working hours: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of supervisory/management experience specifically within a food manufacturing plant.

Large Scale Operations: Proven experience managing or leading operations in a facility with 800+ employees.

Engineering Background: Background or previous professional experience as an Engineer.

Financial Expertise: MUST have direct experience budgeting the entire manufacturing plant.

Food Safety: Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, including HACCP and GMP.

Technical Aptitude: Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for automated mechanical processes.

Education: High School Diploma or GED (Associate or Bachelor?s degree preferred).
